As a brand strategist and the head curator in charge here at Edit Noire, I research a LOT of brands. It’s probably one of, if not the most important part of my job(s). Of course, I’m always looking for those brands that do what they do, and well, but I also have my eye out for those that are completely new (to me). And by completely new I mean, doing something super creative, disrupting spaces, or changing industries altogether. Whenever I come across a brand like this, I get super excited and reminded of how damn brilliant, and magical, and exclusive we are. Make your things sis. Make. Your. Things.

My latest discovery is Excessory Brand. Fashion accessories here to take your outfit to the next level. Here’s how it works: You buy an Excessory Kit which comes with 3 – 5 coordinating accessories and you style them with your regular-degular outfit (I’m talking to myself here, but if you feel me, you feel me) and boom, you just upgraded your whole outfit. Went from a look…to A LEWK.

When I saw the owner promoting her stuff on Twitter, I knew she was onto something special. This is one of those ideas that will have you feeling like “where has this been all my life?!” Especially for us girls who are either strapped for time or have trouble finding and pairing the right fashion accessories or want an easy and stylish way to enhance their wardrobe

There are currently four Excessory Kits available right now for $65 per kit.

  • Flossy Bossy – Classy, gold accessories to add a little dazzle for an upscale event.
  • Miss Girl – Giving you all types of vintage glam.
  • Mona Lisa – Fusing fashion with art for our culture cuties.
  • Pish Posh – Vintage posh style with a pop of color.

I’ve got my eye on Flossy Bossy because you can never go wrong with a neutral glam, but Pish Posh? That green purse is sending meee.
